  • Overview

    The Regional Search Director (RSD) role is responsible for overseeing the Perm teams for a designated region.  The RSD will work with the Regional Leadership teams to help direct the Executive Recruiters (ERs) and drive down all perm initiatives and principles at the branch level. Inspires, motivates and develops staff to achieve the branch, region and individual goals.  Leads by example and demonstrate a hands-on approach.  

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Implements area/regional strategy in conjunction with Vice President group to increase Executive Recruiter (ER) perm dollars.  Directs the ERs and drives down all perm initiatives.
    • Responsible for the recruiting and hiring of all ERs in their respective region.
    • Works closely with all Branch Managers and Vice Presidents to co-manage and motivate and train all ERs by implementing and reinforcing all principles.
    • Leads and motivates Perm teams to achieve division and individual goals, blends people into teams, eliminates roadblocks to individual and team functioning, creates focus and strong morale.
    • Conducts weekly coaching calls with ERs to go over activity and pending activity; monitors ER calls and coaches as necessary; attends ER client visits as well as trains on sales, client development, etc.
    • Trains and Develops staff such that staff are provided with the knowledge, skills and resources needed to successfully function in their jobs, exceed customer expectations and achieve branch goals.
    • Conducts New Hire Training with all new ERs to introduce them to all principles and ensure every ER is trained consistently.
    • Supports Perm staff in recruiting and placement of perm candidates as necessary.
    • Deals with any escalated client or candidate issues and provides constructive feedback to ERs.
    • Fosters collaboration among staff and/or between divisions/lines of business/departments (Temp/Perm, Office, Legal, Finance, Solutions, E&T).
    • Ensures compliance to company programs and procedures
    • Provides balanced, timely performance feedback, knows and supports staff’s career goals.

     

     

    SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

    Participates in special projects and performs other related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience highly preferred.
    • Staffing industry experience is required.
    • Direct Hire experience is required.
    • Strong desire to succeed, results-oriented, self motivated, sense of urgency to achieve outcomes and exceed expectations.
    • Professional appearance, demeanor and approach to work.
    • Outstanding phone etiquette, verbal, written communication, and customer service skills.
    • Energetic, enthusiastic personality, fearless attitude, works well in a fast-paced dynamic atmosphere and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
    • Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, proactive, resourceful, creative and ability to succeed in a competitive environment.
    • Be proficient in handling difficult client negotiations with professionalism and respect and team-oriented mentality.
    • Strong computer proficiency.  Proficient with Windows 2000 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
