Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • The Technical Recruiter is responsible for making connections and developing relationships with IT professionals who may be a good fit for contract assignments with Modis’ clients.
  • Technical Recruiters are expected to source qualified IT candidates daily.
  • Modis relies on the judgment of the Recruiter to accurately qualify the candidates, negotiate a rate that is profitable for Modis, and secure the candidate’s commitment to take the assignment.
  • Technical Recruiters maintain and further develop relationships with the IT consultants to build a long-lasting commitment to Modis.
  • Responsibilities include:  Sourcing candidates; Qualifying candidates; Negotiating pay rates; Consultant sign-up; Client/manager facilitation; Consultant relationship-building; Database maintenance

 

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science or Finance.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a professional environment. Previous work history in a customer service, sales, recruiting, staffing or general business environment is preferred.
  • Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of various technologies and IT verbiage.
  • Candidates must possess exceptional communication and phone skills, a great personality, strong organization skills and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Should have a high-level understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
