Overview

  

Under limited direction, the Regional Operations Manager, manages specific activities at assigned profit centers within an assigned geographic territory.  Ensures the effective training of all new hires. Develops profit center budgets and recommend/implement approved organization structures and procedures to increase operating efficiency.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides development and career opportunity for staff of multiple branches.  Performs all duties inherent in a managerial role.
  • Manages and directs specific activities at assigned profit centers within an assigned geographic territory to increase sales, profitability and service levels. Recommends organization structures to maximize profit center effectiveness 
  • Ensures the effective training of all new hires on standard Technical Account Executive/Technical Recruiter/Technical Administraton procedures and processes, and in customer service skills pertinent to their position.  Plans new hires' training schedules and hands-on follow-up training in skill marketing, recruiting, payroll security and procedures, workers' compensation and unemployment claims control, etc.
  • Participates in the training of all new Branch Managers in operational procedures, A/R management and HR policies.
  • Conducts operations analyses and audits of each assigned profit center, reviews each analysis with the Branch Managers, make suggestions for improvements, follows up to ensure improvements are implemented.
  • Develops and ensures that QA procedures are implemented at assigned profit centers.
  • Assists in, and monitors the implementation of new volume accounts and on-site programs. 
  • Participates with sales staff in sales presentations/QBR’s for key accounts as assigned to ensure a total team approach to quality service.
  • Assists in the interview/screening process of all Technical Staff Colleagues as needed.
  • Fills in for Branch Managers or any other staff function as needed.
  • Coordinates all regional trade show activities, other recruiting fairs and attend/participate in community organizations.  Analyzes, report and track results of such activities to assist in future planning.
  • Drives regional recruiting efforts, assist in the construction and implementation of
  • Branch quarterly recruiting plans.  Monitors unfilled orders and BEST metrics to
  • improve branch productivity.
  • Works to continually increase operating efficiency at branch offices
  • Enables the development and implementation of state-of-art technologies introduced by Adecco 
  • Maps existing processes, performs work flow analysis and determines opportunities to refine, develop, standardize and streamline business processes, remove non-value adding activities and consolidate lower-value activities to improve performance and productivity measurements.

 

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:

  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE & OTHER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience plus three to five years experience in a service provider environment.  
  • Supervisory/Management experience within Adecco Technical organization preferred.
  • Working knowledge of labor and employment laws. 
  • Excellent oral/written communication, presentation and negotiation skills required. Proficient in MS Office and Windows.
